My felted Whimsy Woolies aren’t just 100% wool and super cute—they’re clever little companions for your well-being. Wool is a natural diffuser, gently releasing essential oils into the air to lift your mood, calm your nerves, or add a hint of enchantment to your day.
The secret? Felting! The magical tangle of fibers created in the felting process gives oils plenty of nooks and crannies to cling to, while still letting air flow through—meaning your scent lasts longer and diffuses more evenly. No water, no cords, no flames—just wool, whimsy, and wellness.
Wool is also naturally antimicrobial, making it safe for long-term aromatherapy use. But a word of warning: only use essential oils on 100% wool. Many commercial felted items contain synthetic fillers or plastic blends that can release harmful toxins when mixed with oils. When you choose pieces from trusted small makers (like me!) who use high-quality, all-natural wool, you can feel confident in both the magic and the materials.
I source the majority of the high quality wool I use locally, from farms in Ladner and Kelowna, BC, Canada. For accents and unique colours I also use specialty 100% merino wool from New Zealand.
So go ahead—dab on a little lavender, tuck your Whimsy nearby,
and let the magic begin.
Whimsy Woolies also make unique and fabulous PIN CUSHIONS!

Art has become a powerful part of my healing—physically, emotionally, and creatively. As my hands shape clay, they also shape stories, memories, and moments of magic.
From the tools and techniques I use, to the modifications I’ve made as a disabled artist, In the Workshop is where I open the studio door and invite you into my process. I’ll also be sharing the stories behind the art—the meaning, the magic, and the reasons why I make what I make.
